Diana Kostova
About Diana Kostova:
Diana discovers her love for sports in early childhood, starting with swimming in the kindergarten pool, which later took her all the way to a national championship. In parallel she's practicing sports gymnastics and folklore dances. At school age she's looking for herself for a long time in training modern ballet, volleyball, dancesport and many years of practicing martial arts. However, this is not enough for her, and her ambitions for development in sports lead her to the women's national ice hockey team, with which she even participates in a world championship. After the long training sessions on the ice, looking for a way to move with the same ease on the ground, she discovers the kizomba dance. Later, she returns to folk dances, and along with them she also tries salsa, bachata and hip-hop. In her late student years, already committed to long hours of work behind a desk, she finds an outlet and a place to use up her energy in crossfit training, but it turns out not to be enough for her. That's the moment she finds herself in the pole dance hall and finally discovers a sport that combines the strength, flexibility, grace and dance movements she is looking for. Once she touches the pole, she experiences love at first flight, and only by climbing to its top does she feel high enough to achieve her goals. Not long after, the hall becomes her second home, and when life puts her through one of its hardest tests, it is only there that she feels whole. Years later, this is also the place where she meets the best moments of her life, and the people in the hall are like family to her. After eight years of gained experience, many memorable solo and duet performances and participation in international competitions, she begins sharing her great love for this sport by becoming part of our team!
